Golf Cart Battery Service

6V, 8V, 12V and lithium battery packs for golf carts and LSVs.

Golf carts are everywhere in our area β€” from the communities of Brooksville and Spring Hill to Wesley Chapel, Land O' Lakes, and the neighborhoods of Pinellas and Hillsborough. When your cart slows down, loses range or won't move at all, our mobile golf cart battery service comes to your driveway, garage or golf course. We service Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, ICON, Evolution, Advanced EV and most other brands.

Lead-Acid Golf Cart Battery Replacement

Most golf carts run on a pack of 6-volt, 8-volt or 12-volt deep-cycle lead-acid batteries wired in series to create a 36V or 48V system. Because the batteries work as a team, a single weak battery reduces the performance of the entire pack. We load-test each battery individually to determine whether you need one battery or a complete set.

When replacing a full pack, we install fresh deep-cycle batteries from trusted brands, replace corroded cables as needed, clean the battery tray, tighten every connection to the correct torque and check your charger to make sure it's charging the new pack properly.

Lithium Golf Cart Conversions

Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries are the biggest upgrade you can make to a golf cart. They weigh roughly 60–70% less than lead-acid, require no watering, charge faster, deliver consistent power until empty, and typically last 8–10 years. We perform complete lithium conversions including the battery, compatible charger, state-of-charge meter and any required mounting hardware.

Golf Cart Battery Maintenance

Flooded lead-acid batteries need regular watering with distilled water, periodic equalizing charges and clean, tight terminals. In the Florida heat, water evaporates faster than most owners expect. Our maintenance visits include watering, cleaning, a full pack test and charger inspection to help your batteries reach their full lifespan.

Lithium golf cart conversions

A lithium conversion is the biggest upgrade you can make to a golf cart, and it is the job we recommend most when a lead-acid set wears out. We install it on site across Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough County.

Florida heat is hard on lead-acid: water boils off faster and plates wear out sooner. LiFePO4 lithium has no water to check and handles the heat far better.

Why cart owners switch to lithium

  • Up to 70% lighter. One lithium pack replaces six or eight heavy lead-acid batteries, so the cart is easier on tires, turf and hills.
  • More range, steady speed. Up to about twice the range of an aging lead-acid set, and full power until the pack is nearly empty instead of fading as it drains.
  • No watering, ever. No distilled water, no acid on the tray, no corroded terminals.
  • Faster charging. A few hours on the matched lithium charger (Lithium Rhino quotes about 3–4) instead of an 8–10 hour overnight charge.
  • Longer life. About 8–10 years of typical use, compared with about 4–6 years for lead-acid, and often less for lead-acid in Florida heat.
  • Long warranty. Lithium Rhino backs its packs with an 8-year warranty (per Lithium Rhino), and our installation workmanship is warranted too. Your invoice lists the exact terms.

Questions

Can I replace just one golf cart battery?

If the pack is less than about 18 months old, replacing a single failed battery can make sense. On older packs, a new battery will be pulled down by the old ones, so we usually recommend a full set.

Is lithium worth it for a golf cart?

For most owners who use their cart regularly, yes. The longer life, zero maintenance and lighter weight usually make lithium cheaper over the life of the cart.
